School Improvements and Student Benefits

If voters approve the Rosebud-Lott ISD bond this November, it will fund a range of improvements that directly benefit our students. The bond includes updates to aging school facilities, such as replacing outdated electrical, and mechanical systems in the middle and high schools, which haven’t seen major renovations since 1971.

“These upgrades will not only improve the safety and functionality of the buildings but also create a better learning environment for our students. In addition, the bond will expand career and technical education programs, giving students more opportunities to prepare for high-demand fields such as welding, cybersecurity, and robotics,” RLISD Director of Curriculum Shanna Howell said.

The bond will also create additional space for dual credit courses, allowing students to earn college credits while still in high school. This means families can save money on tuition, and students will be better prepared for future success.

Stay informed about the bond, and remember that early voting begins October 21, with Election Day on November 5.
