WHY DID ROSEBUD-LOTT ISD PUT THIS BOND ELECTION ON THE BALLOT?

With existing funds, RLISD cannot afford to make the renovations and additions needed for our students and facilities to keep up with all of the advancements since 1971 when the High School & Middle School were originally built.

Some of the following items have not been updated in over 30 years.

  • Replace & install new flooring and ceiling in the middle school & high school

  • Replace old AC & heating units

  • Expand the cafeteria by 720 square feet

  • Install new water fountains

  • Remove & replace track

  • Replace needed gas heaters in the middle and high school gyms, ag shop, bus barn

  • Bring electrical outlets up to code in middle school & high school classrooms

  • Add fencing around outdoor facilities, including the track
